Khartoum, June 16 (SUNA)-The General Director of Sudanese Mineral Resources Company, Eng. Mubarak Abdul-Rahman Ardol, has affirmed readiness of the company for unlimited cooperation with the Ministry of Mining of the Republic of South Sudan in all fields.

This came when Ardol received and welcomed today in Khartoum the visiting delegation from  the Republic of South Sudan, led by the Minister of Mining, Martin Gama. 

Ardol described the visit as important and it contributes to strengthening cooperation between the two countries in the field of mining.

 Meanwhile, Ardol expressed readiness of the Sudanese Mineral Resources Company to provide the experience of its cadres in the field of supervision, calculation of shares and regulation of traditional mining.  

The General Director of Sudanese Mineral Resource Company reviewed the tasks of the company including supervision over mineral production and providing of support to the concession companies, following up implementation of agreements, collecting state fees and preserving state’s production shares.

Martin Gama, on his part, expressed his pleasure for the great resources that Sudan has, indicating that they benefited from the visit which he said would help in boosting cooperation and holding of partnerships in all fields between the two countries.
