Genaina, June 22 (SUNA) – Vice – President of the Transitional Sovereignty Council, Gen. Mohamed Hamdan Daglo, met in Genaina, the capital of West Darfur State, on Wednesday with the parties of the peace process and reviewed a report on the issues and challenges facing the peace process and solution of the tribal problems in the state.
Present at the meeting were the members of the Sovereignty Council Dr. Al-Hadi Idris and Al-Tahir Hajar.
The meeting decided formation of joint committees, that include the peace process parties and the security organs, to work for establishing peace, reconciliations and peaceful co-existence and to support security, stability and the voluntary repatriation.
The member of the Transitional Sovereignty Council, Al-Tahir Hajar, has stressed the importance of coordination between the parties of the peace process and the security services, calling for the provision of initiatives and projects that contribute to the convergence of views between the disputing tribes, working to build a community of peace and to preach with the Juba agreement for peace in Sudan.
The member of the Transitional Sovereignty Council, Dr. Al-Hadi Idris, affirmed determination of the parties of the peace process to implement the Juba peace agreement, pointing to the move towards serious steps to implement the security arrangements clause.
He pointed to the importance of cooperation between the offices of the signatory movements with the s government of West Darfur State.
The Political Secretary General of the Sudanese Alliance, Saeed Mohamed, hoped that the state will issue decisive decisions to put an end to the tribal disputes, impose the prestige of the state and to protect the citizens and the agricultural season.
