Cairo, June 23 (SUNA) - The Sudanese leader, Sayyid Mohamed Osman Al-Mirghani, head of the Sudanese Democratic Unionist Party, has praised the efforts made by Egypt and  the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for the success of the transitional stage in Sudan.

Al-Mirghani valued what was stated about Sudan in the joint final statement on the occasion of the visit of His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, the Saudi Crown Prince and Deputy Prime Minister, to Cairo and his meeting with Egyptian President Abdel-Fattah Al-Sisi, that affirmed determination of Egypt and Saudi Arabia to continue their support for the success of the transitional stage and their encouragement of dialogue between the Sudanese parties.

Al-Mirghani said that this Egyptian-Saudi call comes at the right time, pointing out that it responds to the national demands calling for participation of national political actors in taking policies and decisions related to Sudan's future plans and aspirations.

Al-Mirghani stressed the depth of the historical and strategic relations linking the three countries (Sudan, Saudi Arabia, and Egypt) and the importance of strengthening, developing and elevating them to the highest levels, in order to achieve common goals and interests.
