Khartoum, June 29(SUNA)-Ministry of Trade and  Supply  and North Kordofan State  signed here  today a 10 million  dollar- border trade agreement with the neighboring Libya through Hamart-al-Sheikh crossing.

Minister of Trade and Supply, Amal Salih Saad signed for the Ministry and Wali ud North Kordofan State, Fadlalla Ali Al Tom and the State Minister of Finance, Saif-Eddin Ahmed Hashim signed  for the State.

Minister of Trade indicated to benefits  that the country and the North Kordofan  State  could reap  from the agreement.

Wali of Morth Kordofan State, Fadlalla Ali Al-Tom said in a press statement  following the signing ceremony  that the agreement on trade with Libya  would support the national economy, curb smuggling  and enabling  the Ministry of Finance to receive  revenues  of exports.

He added  that the agreement would contribute to increasing the State’s revenues  and would reflect positively on the people’s livelihood.

Minister of Finance of North Kordofan State , on his part, said the deal would help the North Kordofan State  to benefit from its resources  and from the economic effect of the agreement which would reflect positively on livelihood of the people , affirming the State commitment  to the  regulations and laws organizing trade with the partners.
