Khartoum, July 7 (SUNA) – South Sudan Presidential Adviser Tut Gatluak arrived in Khartoum today, accompanied by his country's Minister of Foreign Affairs Mayiik Ayii Deng, on an official visit to Sudan.

He was received at Khartoum Airport by the Secretary-General of the Transitional Sovereignty Council, Lt. Gen. Mohamed Al-Ghali Ali Yusuf, and members of the Embassy of the Republic of South Sudan in Khartoum.

Gatluak said in a press statement that he is carrying a written message from the President of the Republic of South Sudan, Salva Kiir Mayardit, to the President of the Transitional Sovereignty Council, the current head of IGAD, Gen. Abdel-Fattah Al-Burhan, regarding issues of security and stability in the region.
