Damazin, July 28 (SUNA) –Governor of Blue Nile Region, Ahmed Al-Omda Badi, the head of the security committee of the region, met at his office here yesterday evening with delegation of the investigation committee into the incidents of the Blue Nile Region, which was recently formed by a decision by the Attorney General at the federal level headed by Hon. Ibrahim Al-Hadi Ibrahim, Head of the Public Prosecution, who briefed him on and arrangements for the launch of work to implement the tasks and duties of the committee.

The meeting was attended by Minister of Finance and Economic Planning of the region Abbas Abdallah Kara, members of the security committee and the Secretary General of the Government of the Region Mirghani Makki Mirghani.

The Secretary-General of the regional government pointed  out in in a press statement to the media center of the General Secretariat of the regional government that the head of the committee provided an integrated briefing on the completion of the committee’s membership to carry out its mission fully, explaining that the governor expressed his welcome to the head and members of the committee, as he directed extending support to the committee so that it can carry out its tasks and duties to the fullest in order to achieve justice to the victims of the recent security incidents.

He said that the regional government affirmed its keenness to provide aid to the displaced and those affected by the recent security incidents.

It called for standing behind the regular forces in order to boost security, stability and the rule of law, reiterating that all those involved in the recent security incidents will be brought before justice.
