Istanbul, July 30 (SUNA) – The Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, received on Tuesday, July 26, 2022, the credentials of Ambassador Nader Youssef Al-Tayeb, as the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Sudan to the Republic of Turkey.
During the meeting, the Turkish President affirmed his country's continuous support for Sudan, and expressed Turkey's desire to support and strengthen the bilateral relations.
He stressed the importance of reactivating the bilateral agreements signed between the two countries, and the importance of encouraging the Turkish investments in Sudan for the benefit of the two countries.
On his part, Ambassador Nader Youssef conveyed the greetings of the President of the Transitional Sovereign Council, General Abdul-Fattah Al-Burhan, to President Erdogan, and affirmed the keenness of the Sudanese leadership to strengthen further the bilateral cooperation and to reach the stage of strategic relations.
He assured the importance of reactivating the joint committees, based on firmness of the brotherly bonds. the friendship and historical relations witnessed between the two countries.
