Khartoum, Aug.1st (SUNA) - Member of the Transitional Sovereignty Council (TSC), Gen. Shams-Eddin Al-Kabbashi, has got informed Monday at the Republican  Palace on the outcome of the seven-day visit of the committee which formed by the Higher Council of the Native Administration of Sudan to the Blue Nile Region.

In a press statement, Chairman of the Higher Council of Native Administration in Sudan, Siddiq Adam Abdalla Wadaa, said that the delegation has briefed Gen. Kabbashi, the member of TSC and official of  the Blue Nile and South Kordofan file, on the outcome of the visit of the committee that formed by the council to Blue Nile State.

The committee has met with the state’s government and the parties of the recent tribal dispute, indicating that the committee succeeded in its goal represented in bringing the two sides reach to an agreement on cessation of hostilities, which is expected to be signed shortly.

Wadaa said that the delegation of the Higher Council of the Native administration in Sudan has met with TSC member, Gen. Abdul-Fattah Al-Burhan, and informed him in detail on the efforts being exerted by the committee, through its visit to Blue Nile State, which succeeded in halting the hostilities between the two parties, adding that arrangements are underway for signing the agreement.

Wadaa indicated that the TSC President has given a directive on the continuous work of the committee until the celebration marking the agreement's singing, stressing the keenness of the council to carry out its role in achieving reconciliations and addressing the society’s issues.
