Genaina, Aug. 1 (SUNA) – Vice – President of the Transitional Sovereignty Council, Gen. Mohamed Hamdan Daglo, Monday received at his residence in Genaina city, the capital of West Darfur State, a delegation of Baidha Locality, headed by its Executive Director, Abdu Abdul-Karim Ushar, and got briefed in details about the issues of peace, peaceful co-existence and the situation of the agricultural season in the locality.
The Executive Director and head of Baidha Locality said in a press statement that the locality witnessed an expansion in agriculture at the beginning of the current season thanks to the security and stability provided by the regular forces, with the help of the citizens, stressing that Baidha Locality did not witness confrontations or tribal disputes.
He pointed to the support provided by the local communities to the reconciliations programs, describing his locality as one of the most important agricultural and pastoral localities.
Ushar expressed the appreciation and thanks of the delegation to the Vice – President of the Transitional Sovereignty Council for his endeavors in expanding peace and stability in West Darfur State.
On his part, the chieftain of Mustariha area in West Darfur, Omer Yahia, pointed to the success of their efforts to cultivate bean at large areas in Mustariha thanks to the security that prevailed in the locality.
