Khartoum, Aug. 2 (SUNA) - The Federal Ministry of Health has announced cancellation of all restrictions on entry of nationals and foreigners to Sudan concerning coronavirus pandemic.

The technical committee for responding to the Covid-19 pandemic recommended abolition of all restrictions on entry to Sudan, while maintaining the health requirements at the entry points stipulated by the international regulations, within the framework of following up on the epidemiological situation internally and externally.

This is along with monitoring the global epidemiological situation, following up on emergence of mutants, and taking the necessary measures as necessary in addition to strengthening health procedure systems for arrivals through various entry points.

 Accordingly, Acting Federal Minister of Health, Dr. Haitham Mohamed Ibrahim, addressed the Civil Aviation Authority and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to take the necessary action and circulate to relevant authorities, pointing to importance of receiving covid-19 vaccine for the safety of everyone and as it is the first line in preventing and achieving the safety of citizens from Covid 19.
