Khartoum, Aug.  4 (SUNA) - The member of the Transitional Sovereignty Council, Malik Agar Aer, met today at the Republican Palace, the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Norway to Sudan, Ambassador Theresa Loken Gazel.

The meeting reviewed the bilateral relations between Khartoum and Oslo, and ways of developing them, the political, economic and humanitarian developments in  the country, and the role of the Kingdom of Norway in supporting the democratic transition process.

Ambassador Teresa following the meeting indicated in a press statement her country's continued support for the Sudanese people to achieve their aspirations for a prosperous future.

She noted:  "The current challenges that Sudan is going through need to find urgent solutions, through everyone's agreement to form a government led by civilians," indicating that the formation of a civilian government in Sudan, with the participation of all, would contribute to solving the current economic and humanitarian issues.
