Nairobi, Aug. 6 (SUNA) – Ambassador Kamal Jubara Mohamed Salih handed over his credentials on Friday to the Kenyan President, Uhuru Kenyatta, as the Ambassador Extraordinary and plenipotentiary of the Republic of Sudan to the Republic of Kenya.
Ambassador Salih has conveyed to the Kenyan President the greetings of the President of the Transitional Sovereignty Council, Gen. Abdul-Fattah Al-Burhan.
He stressed the importance of strengthening further to the bilateral relations in all fields.
He also affirmed the importance of coordinating the stances and the cooperation between Sudan and Kenya at the regional and international forums.
On his part, the Kenyan President welcomed Sudan ambassador and expressed the readiness of all the official organs and institutions in Kenya to facilitated the mission of Sudan ambassador to Kenya.
He asked the ambassador to convey his greetings to the President of the Transitional Sovereignty Council, asserting the importance of consolidating the bilateral relations between Sudan and Kenya.
The credentials ceremony was attended by the Kenyan Minister of Foreign Affairs and a number of senior officials at the Kenyan Foreign Ministry, besides members of Sudan Embassy in Nairobi.
