Zalenge, Aug. 8 (SUNA) – The Council of Ministers of Central Darfur State, chaired by the state’s Wali (governor) Saad Adam Babiker, Sunday evening held a meeting with a visiting an investment delegation of representatives of the Sudanese Wells Company for Investment and Services and the Austrian PKE Finance Company and reviewed horizons of investment in the state, especially in the fields of solar energy and tourism, in addition to the possibility of establishing a fund at the Ministry of Finance to purchase cash crops.

In a statement to SUNA, the state’s Wali (governor) affirmed the state need for investment; especially that Central Darfur State is enjoying security and stability.

The Wali explained that he informed the delegation on the various resources and potentialities in the stat, adding that the delegation’s visit was considered the start and a strong boost for arrival of other investors in the state.

 The Wali indicated that the visiting companies have given briefing on the services projects that they would provide in the fields of water and solar energy after field visit and surveys that they made at number areas.

Sameeh Al Sheikh, the representative of an Austrian company, said that they visited Central Darfur State with the aim to inspect the existing projects and to review the possibility of establishing projects in the fields of solar energy, finance lines, livestock and water.
