Khartoum, Aug. 8 (SUNA) – The leader of the call of the people of Sudan for national consensus initiative, Sheikh Al-Tayeb Al-Jid, said that the country is at a crossroads, between to be or not to be, warning against the model of the countries of Syria, Yemen and Libya if the Sudanese did not reach an agreement between them.

Addressing a briefing meeting between the initiative and the native administrations at the Friendship Hall on Monday, sheikh Al-Jid called for the unity of word and rank and exerting efforts so that Sudan be able to overcome its crisis and restore its security and stability.

He stressed that the round table conference for the  comprehensive Sudanese dialogue will be held during August 13-14, indicating that there will be a transitional government for no more than a year or 18 months before the elections.
