Khartoum, Aug. 9 (SUNA) - The Chinese Ambassador to Khartoum, Ma Xinmin, has said that the visit of US House Speaker Nancy Pelosi to Taiwan is a serious violation of the internationally recognized basic principles of international law regarding national sovereignty and non-interference in internal affairs.

Xinmin said in a press conference held at the Chinese embassy premises today that the Taiwan issue is a purely internal affair and has nothing to do with other parties.

He said the policies that the United States is doing are considered as interference in the affairs of developing countries, noting that China has taken legal measures that have found support from more than one hundred and seventy countries and international organizations, noting that imposing hegemony on other countries has always been practiced by America and countries should stand by China in its just cause.

Meanwhile, the Chinese Ambassador affirmed the tendency of his country to expand aspects of joint cooperation between it and Sudan in the fields of agriculture, meat industry, infrastructure and the automobile industry besides oil, as the Chinese company has remained committed to its cooperation with Sudan.
