Khartoum, Aug 19 (SUNA) -  The Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs Ali Al-Saig Ali, will participate tomorrow, Saturday, at an official invitation from the Chadian government, in the opening session of the Comprehensive Dialogue Conference in Chad, after the Chadian government and opposition groups signed an agreement in Doha last week to start dialogue immediately after signing.

In a statement to the Sudan News Agency, Ambassador said that achieving peace in Chad is of paramount importance to Sudan due to the tribal overlap and the common borders between the two countries and the presence of large numbers of refugees.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs will meet his Chadian counterpart on the sidelines of the conference to discuss bilateral relations between the two countries and ways to develop them and maintain security on the common borders between the two countries.

It is worth mentioning that Chad actively participated in the Juba talks, which resulted in the signing of the Sudanese government and the Darfur movements of the Sudanese peace agreement.
