Khartoum, Sept 19 (SUNA) - Member of the Transitional Sovereignty Council (TSC) Lt-General Yasser Al-Atta received, today, in his office, in the Republican Palace, the Kuwaiti Ambassador to Sudan Fahd Al-Zuferri in the presence of the Deputy Director of Arab Administration of he Ministry of Foreig Affairs, Ambassador Khaled Ibrahim Al-Sheikh.

The meeting  reviewed the distinguished relations between Sudan and the State of Kuwait and means for enhancing the mutual cooperation.

The Kuwiti diplomat said in press statements that the meeting tackled the efforts being exerted by the State of Kuwait to support the Sudanese people during the current stage, pointing out that he presented to the TSC Member a number of development and investment projects to be implemented in cooperation with Sudan.

The ambassador expressed readiness of the Kuwaiti Fund for Economic Development and the General Investment Authority to establish partnerships with the Sudanese side, referring to the common concern of the two countries with regard to food and water security issues.

  “ The Arab Summit scheduled for next November, in Algeria will review the Arab food security and Sudan’s huge resources and potentialities , in this connection” the ambassador said.

He underlined that the meeting, further, discussed the Sudanese-Kuwaiti military cooperation.
