New York, Sept. 22 (SUNA) - The Sudan’s delegation led by General Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan, President of the Transitional Sovereignty Council participates in the third day of the high-level debate activities of the United Nations General Assembly.
According to the agenda of the 77th session, the Chairman of the TSC will deliver the Sudan’s address before the UNGA in the first session, country No. (12), in the order of the 34 countries scheduled for this day.
The activities of the high-level discussion of the UNGA began on the 20th of current September with an opening address by the Secretary-General of the United Nations, António Guterres, in which he focused on the consolidation and respecting of the foundations of international law regulating the work of the UNs and the Security Council.
The UNGA represents an opportunity for heads of states and governments to meet at the UNs’ Headquarters in New York, hold meetings and discuss various issues of concern to the whole world.
