Khartoum, Nov. 1  (SUNA) – The Sudanese delegation of members of the Sudanese side of the Sudanese-Libyan Joint Chamber of Commerce, currently in visit to Libyan CpitalTripoli, headed by Mohamed Ahmed El-Zein, met with the headof the Federation of Chambers of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture in Libya Mohamed Ahmed Abdel-Rahman, in the presence of the head of the Libyan side in the Sudanese-Libyan Chamber Saleh Abu Khurais and members of the Chamber And a number of Libyan businessmen, and discussed the role of the joint chamber in strengthening economic and commercial cooperation relations between the two countries.

The head of the Sudanese side at the Sudanese-Libyan Chamber of Commerce,  Mohamed Ahmed El-Zein, pointed that the delegation's visit aims, through the joint chamber, to discuss ways and mechanisms for developing commercial cooperation relations between the two countries, and to discuss solutions and treatments for the obstacles and problems facing commercial activity, in a way that contributes to opening broader horizons for cooperation between the private sectors of the two countries in all fields, indicating the importance of Libya to Sudan as a gateway for exports to European countries.

The head of the Federation of Libyan Chambers of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture, Mohamed Ahmed Abdel Rahman, welcomed the visit of the Sudanese businessmen delegation to the Sudanese-Libyan Chamber of Commerce to Tripoli, pointing to the distinguished continued relations between Sudan and Libya, pointing to it as relations of integration of resources, capabilities and expertise in the two countries, pointing to the Sudan great economic and natural resources and capabilities, stressing that the visit is considered the beginning for restoring trade relations between the two countries.

The head of the Libyan side at the Sudanese-Libyan Chamber of Commerce, Saleh Abu Khrais, affirmed the chamber workto overcome obstacles, open crossings for trade, and legalize transit trade, which he said will witness during the next stage a qualitative leap in its trade movement between the two countries to contribute in increasing the volume of trade exchanges, calling for action to create economic integration with the Sahel-Saharan Community for the benefit of the peoples of the two countries.
