El Fasher, Nov. 21 (SUNA) - A delegation from the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO), started yesterday, a visit to the state of North Darfur.
The (FAO) visiting delegation includes Kun Justin, Coordinator of the Resilience Program, Alki Broma from Vagen University, and Nathan Kivova, Coordinator of Monitoring and Evaluation of the Flexibility Program in the FAO office in Nairobi, Kenya.
The visit targets discuss and follow up with the competent authorities of N. Darfur government the implementation of the food and nutrition security program, and to provide technical support to the implementation team.
The delegation's program also includes holding meetings with the beneficiaries of the food and nutrition security program project and review the success achieved by the project.
The FAO delegation started its meetings in El- Fasher by meeting with the state’s Director General of the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock, Dr. Enaam Ismail Abdullah, and the director of the National Forestry Authority in the state.
