Khartoum, Nov. 22 (SUNA)- The  Ambassador of Oman Sultanate Ali bin Sulaiman Aldarmaki,  organized Yesterday at Al-Salam Rutana Hotel in Khartoum a reception  party on the   52 nd anniversary  of Oman’s  National Day.

The Federal Minister of Health Dr. Haitham Mohamed Ibrahim attended the occasion representing the President of the Transitional Sovereignty Council (TSC) Gen. Abdul Fattah Al-Burhan.

In his statement to the occasion attended by a number of Sudanese officials and the representatives of the diplomatic corps accredited to Khartoum attended the occasion, the Minister congratulated the leadership and people of Oman on the occasion of their country's National Day, indicating that the Sultanate witnessed a great development during the reign of Sultan Qaboos, and the development continues now during the reign of Sultan Haitham bin Tariq, appreciating his diplomatic efforts and close views between the brothers, commending the Sultanate of Oman's support for Sudan in all fields.

On his part, the Omani Ambassador welcomed the gusts, saying:"It is a pleasure to meet today in Khartoum to celebrate the 52nd anniversary of the renaissance of Oman, which began its journey on development since 1970, and is still continuing."

 The Ambassador stressed that the Sultanate and the Sudan have friendly and brotherly relations based on mutual interests and are engaged with many agreements and memorandums of understanding in the various economic and trade fields.
