Khartoum, Nov. 22 (SUNA) - The Revolutionary Front has asserted its firm positions in supporting the political process leading to a civil and democratic transformation in order to achieve the slogans of the glorious December revolution.
The Leadership Council of the Revolutionary Front, headed by Dr. El-Hadi Idris Yahya, held an extraordinary meeting that lasted for two days, in which it discussed many important issues.
The meeting discussed the draft political declaration submitted by the participating parties in the Bar Association Steering Committee workshop, stressing on the need to create a broad collation that includes the forces of the revolution and the forces of transition in order to make the political process successful.
After studying the draft of the political declaration, the meeting concluded that there are some observations, for which a committee was formed from the Revolutionary Front to sit with the concerned parties to include them in preparation for the signing of the political declaration by the Revolutionary Front.
The meeting also discussed the draft constitutional declaration for the year 2022 and the observations of the military component on it, considering that it constitute an acceptable basis on which to build, aligning them with the initiative of the Revolutionary Front put forward last March, and this resulted in a number of observations related to the structures of the transitional period and the Juba Peace Agreement for Peace in Sudan, and they will be discussed with colleagues in freedom and change, the Democratic Unionist Party (the origion), The Popular Conference, and the federalist origin and the popular conference and tAnsar al-Sunnah Muhammadiyah Group in order to reach understandings about it.
