Khartoum, Nov. 22 (SUNA) - Lieutenant General Mohamed Hamdan Daglo affirmed that the intelligence services are the tip of the spear in early detection of threats and taking the necessary measures to limit them and besiege their effects, and it bears a great responsibility, which requires specific preparation and training for its employees.

In his address today for the closing session of the meetings of the security and intelligence services in the Lakes region, he indicated that the tremendous development the world is witnessing has made the challenges transnational, rather transcontinental, as no country can work alone in isolation from other countries, he noted: “in Sudan we have our challenges, which we are working on, we strive to address it through an agreement between us as Sudanese, leading to free and fair elections, and establishing the pillars of the state, so that we can invest our country abounds resources.”
