Khartoum, Nov. 25 (SUNA) – The Member of the Transitional Sovereignty Council, Dr. Al-Hadi Idris Yahya, was briefed on the overall situation in the states of Khartoum and the Red Sea, especially issues of easing the burden of living, development issues, and services that require the support of the federal government.

During his meeting at the Republican Palace yesterday, the acting governor of Khartoum state, Ahmed Othman Hamza, and the acting governor of the Red Sea state, Ali Abdullah Adroub, Al- Hadi affirmed the government's support for development and services issues in the two states.

The meeting with the two Acting Governors reached a package of solutions on a number of issues, deciding to continue during the coming period to develop a road map to address the remaining issues.

 Dr. Al-Hadi indicated that his foreign visits revealed the availability of great opportunities to build development partnerships between Sudan and a number of regional and international institutions to bring about the desired development, especially in the field of developing large cities, pointing out that there are ongoing efforts to develop the cities of Khartoum and Port Sudan, by attracting support from a number of regional and international institutions.
