Khartoum, Dec 4 (SUNA) - The African Center for Governance, Peace & Transition Studies (AcoGaps) participated in the fourteenth edition of the Global Training Program on Reconstruction and Stability in Post-Conflict Environments that was held from November 28 to December 2 in the Senegalese capital, Dakar.

Dr. Mahmoud Zine El Abidine, Director General of the African Center for Peace and Governance Studies, said in a statement to SUNA that experts and representatives of governments and civil society of West African and Sahel countries participated in the training program.

He added that the training program aimed to consider the political, economic and security challenges and ways to address them, while encouraging participants to better participate in practical practices and successful lessons in good governance, building of democratic and strengthening the immunity of institutions and societies in post-armed conflicts environments.
