Khartoum, Jan. 22 (SUNA) – The Vice- President of the Transitional Sovereignty Council, Gen. Mohamed Hamdan Daglo, Sunday received a written message from the President of the Transitional Period in the Republic of Chad, Gen. Mohamed Idris Deby, dealing with bilateral relations between the two brotherly countries and ways to strengthen and develop them to serve common interests.

The message was delivered to the TSC Vice – President by the special envoy of the President of the Transitional Period in Chad, Idris Yousif Boy, in the presence of the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Ambassador Daffalla Al-Haj Ali.

Daglo heard a thorough briefing presented by the visiting Chadian official about the political developments in Chad in light of the positive outcome reached by the parties through the national dialogue, which led to the formation of the government with the participation of the Doha peace parties and the Legislative Council, in addition to the formation of the Electoral Commission.

The TSC Vice-President affirmed the depth of the historical relations between the two countries, praising the efforts made to achieve peace and stability in Chad, pointing to the importance of cooperation and coordination between the two countries in all fields.
