Damazin, Jan 24 (SUNA)- The Center for Peace and Development Studies of Blue Nile University, organized today in Al- Damazin the capital of the Blue Nile Region, a workshop on civic education concept in collaboration with DT Global, funded by USAID.
The workshop comes within the framework of the strategic support for the design of civic education curricula of the Peace Center in Blue Nile Region , under the slogan: (towards sustainable peace in Sudan ).
The workshop targets 45 participants representing the sectors of the native administration, youth, women, civil society organizations, education experts from the Ministry of Education, and Blue Nile University.
It activity focuses on concept of civic education, absolute and transitional justice, the concept of conflict, the civil state and its pillars of democracy, local and participatory democracy, local governance and good governance.
