Khartoum, Jan. 29(SUNA) - Acting Federal Minister of Health Dr. Haitham Mohamed Ibrahim and the Chairperson of Emergency Medical Organization held a press conference today to announce the start of the 6th forum of African Network of Medical Excellence scheduled to be hosted in Khartoum in the period from February 1-2, 2023 in presence of 14th African countries besides a number of organizations under slogan (Health is a bridge of communication and peace).
During the press conference the Minister pointed out to the Sudan second time of to hosting the forum, reviewing the experience of Al-Salam Heart Hospital in Khartoum, which represents a distinguished model for the achievements of the African Network of Medical Excellence for its specialized treatment services in the fields of heart surgery and post-surgical treatment services for patients from Sudan and the countries of the region and the world.
He addedh that the hospital contributes in the field of training and scientific research for doctors and cadres in coordination with the Board of Medical Specialties, meanwhile, the chairperson of the Emergency Medical Organization thanked the government and people of Sudan for receiving and hosting the forum, explaining that it comes out of loyalty to Sudan, which witnessed the birth of the African Network for Medical Excellence.
