
Damazin, Jan. 31 (SUNA) – The Governor of Blue Nile Region and Chairman of the Higher Committee for Coordination of Humanitarian and Development Work in the region, Ahmed Al-Omda Badi, received in his office Monday a delegation of the Belgian Doctors Without Borders organization, headed by the Country Directorof the organization, in the presence of the Minister of Health in the Blue Nile region, Gamal Nasser.
The meeting discussed the objectives of the delegation's visit to the region, foremost of which is achievements made in terms of projects funded by the MSF Belgium in the region.
The Minister of Health, Jamal Nasser, explained that the meeting dealt with the organization's projects in the region in the fields of health, water, sanitation, upgrading skills and model villages, stressing that the meeting was fruitful.
Nasser indicated that the Governor affirmed commitment of the regional government to provide appropriate conditions to enable the organization to implement its various projects.
