Kadugli, Feb. 5 (SUNA) - The member of the Transitional Sovereignty Council, General Shams El Din Kabbashi chaired this afternoon in the secretariat of the Government of South Kordofan State the meeting of the security committee of the state, in the presence of the Acting Governor Musa Jabr Mahmoud and the Acting Minister of Interior, General (police) Anan Hamed.
The Acting Interior Minister stated, in a press statement, that the state’s Acting Governor briefed the meeting about the security and criminal conditions in the state, the state of emergency and the committee's plans to secure cities, the agricultural season, and the collection of weapons.
He affirmed that the regular forces in the state are working in full coordination in the check points and the continuous patrols, praising the efforts of the state security committee to achieve stability and security for citizens in cooperation with the native administrations.
