Khartoum, Feb. 6 (SUNA) - The President of the Transitional Sovereignty Council, Gen. Abdul-Fattah Al-Burhan, has sent a cable of condolences to the Syrian President, Bashar Al-Assad, in which he expressed the sympathy of the Sudanese government and people to the Syrian people for the victims of the earthquake that hit in areas of northern Syria on Monday.
In his cable, Al-Burhan affirmed Sudan full solidarity with the Syrian people and its readiness to provide everything that would mitigate the impacts of this devastating earthquake.
The President of the Sovereignty Council offered his deepest condolences to the Syrian President, the brotherly Syrian people and the families of the victims, affirming Sudan support to Syria to confront this catastrophe that claimed the lives of a large number of the Syrian people, and wished a speedy recovery for the injured persons.
