Khartoum, Feb. 7 (SUNA) - Member of the Transitional Sovereignty Council (TSC) Malik Agar has praised the efforts undertaken by Médecins sans Frontières (MSF) - Belgium / Doctors Without Borders/ organization to support development and social projects in  Blue Nile Region, and its keenness to provide awareness and health services at the camps of the displaced and refugees.

 This came when Agar received in his office at the Republican Palace today the country director of the organization, Whitney Ward.

The TSC Member stressed the need for concerted efforts of government and international community organizations, for sustainable development in the Blue Nile region.

Ward explained, in a press statement, that the organization participates in many projects and programs specialized in the fields of therapeutic nutrition for children under the age of five, and pointed out that the organization has actually started implementing its programs in Damazin Teaching Hospital in Blue Nile, stressing that the organization will continue its awareness programs and activities, and support mobile clinics in rural camps and providing technical and logistical support to hospitals and health facilities in the Blue Nile region.
