Khartoum, March 15(SUNA) – Chairman of the National Human Rights Commission (NHRC), Dr Rifaat Mirghani Al-Amin is taking part, on the sideline of sessions of Global Alliance of National Human Rights Institutions, in meetings of the Network of African National Human Rights Institutions which are taking place in Geneva.
The meeting thoroughly discussed the situation of national human rights institutions in Africa and a host of issues related to human rights institutions in Africa
The NHRC Chairman, Rifaat Mirghani , for his part, affirmed importance of coordination among the national human rights institutions in Africa, underlining the important role played by the NHRC in this connection.
