Khartoum, Mar. 15 (SUNA)- The Undersecretary of Ministry of Foreign Affairs , Ambassador, Daffa Allah Al-Haj Ali , met yesterday in his office with the Ambassador of the Republic of Belarus to Sudan resident in Cairo Mr. Sergey Trenev .
The Undersecretary lauded the developed relations with Belarus, affirming Sudan’s keenness to strengthen mechanism of bilateral cooperation , including convening the ministerial committee between the two countries to cement commercial and economic relations.
He pointed to the available opportunities for Belarus of more investments in fields of agriculture, food processing , infrastructure and mining.
Daffa Alla also affirmed the importance of boosting partnerships with Belarus, due to the strategic position of Sudan and its openness on the African markets, stressing Sudan’s stance which bases on respect of the UN charter, strengthening of principles of international cooperation and international peace and security, in addition to not politicize the UN organizations, calling for coordination of stance with Belarus in all international organization and multilateral forums.
On his part, the Belarusian Ambassador affirmed his country keenness to strengthen and develop relations between Sudan and Belarus in all fields, besides necessity of raising the trade balance and , investments between the two countries.
