Medani March 15 (SUNA) – Tاhe High Committee for the First Economic Conference in Gezira State has affirmed completion of all arrangements for launching the Conference during 19th -20th of current March .
Lecturer at Faculty of Economics and Rural Development of Gezira University and Chairman of the Conference’ s High Committee, Professor Umran Abbas Yusuf announced in a press conference he held today at the Guest Palace in Medani that the economic conference is a smart partnership between the Gezira State and the Gezira University and it will be held under the theme- Towards Optimum and Sustainable Exploitation of Resources in Gezira State-.
He added that the conference aims to cast lights on resources in Gezira State for finding climate that be attractive for local and foreign investment, to address issues of the sectors scientifically , build a database for the available resources for mapping out strategic plans that help in development of resources and the various economic sectors and to focus on human resources and how to employ them to increase the production.
Prof. Umran indicated that the conference would discuss a number of working papers reviewing problems and solutions in the various economic sectors.
