Khartoum, Mar. 15 (SUNA) – The President of the Transitional Sovereignty Council and Commander in Chief of the Armed Forces, Gen. Abdul-Fattah Al-Burhan, attended Wednesday morning at Markhiyat Military Area the conclusion of the Men Resolve Drill which was carried out by learners of the Special and Drone Forces.
Addressing the drill conclusion ceremony, Gen. Al-Burhan has praised the advanced level reached by the graduates, and pledged to continue the process of raising the capabilities of the Armed Forces to enable it to confront any threats with efficiency and competence.
It is to be noted that the Men's Resolve Drill is an exercise for a hypothetical operation carried out by highly trained special groups supported by drones against terrorist and subversive elements.
At the end of the exercise, Gen. Al-Burhan honored the family of the martyr Colonel Mohamad al-Habib Kambo and a number of commanders of the Special Forces.
The graduation ceremony was attended by the Chief of Staff, Gen. Mohamed Osman Al-Hussein, members of the Armed Forces Command and senior officers.
