Khartoum, Mar. 15 (SUNA) - The Public Prosecution has charged the accused, the First Police Lieutenant, under article 130 of the Criminal Law (premeditated murder) in the report of martyr Ibrahim Magzoub, and he was notified of the decision on the filing of the charge.
A source told SUNA that the investigations included all commanders at the Police Headquarters of the East of the Nile, as well as field commanders to ascertain whether any instructions or orders had been issued to use fire-arms.
After completing the necessary investigations and inquiries, the Public Prosecution found that no orders or instructions were issued to hold or carry a fire-arms, nor orders or instructions were issued to shoot demonstrators on the day or location of the accident, which was confirmed by the accused himself upon conducting the investigation with him.
