Khartoum, March 16 (SUNA) - Member of the Transitional Sovereignty Council (TSC) Al-Tahir Abu Bakr Hajar met, at the Republican Palace Thursday Kuwait's Ambassador to Sudan Fahd Mashari Al-Dhafiri.

 

Hajar praised the depth of the Sudanese-Kuwaiti relations, appreciating Kuwait's stances in support of Sudan in regional and international forums.

 

Kuwaiti Ambassador said, in a press statement, that the meeting reviewed the bilateral relations between the two countries by focusing on the areas of economic, investment and development cooperation between the two countries, adding that the meeting was characterized by frankness, transparency and agreement on issues related to the investment and financial aspects, pointing out that the TSC member pledged to overcome the impediments facing the Kuwaiti institutions operating in Sudan and the difficulties that prevent the flow of Kuwaiti investments to Sudan.

 

The Kuwaiti ambassador affirmed his country's support for the framework agreement to reach a political solution to the current crisis in Sudan, expressing his conviction and confidence in the expertise and experiences of the Sudanese that enable them to overcome the current crisis.
