Kharkum, Mar. 17 (SUNA) - The councils of ambassadors of the IGAD countries began its external activities by a delegation led by the Sudan’s ambassador in Moscow and met the Russian Deputy Foreign Minister in Moscow today and discussed strengthening of regional cooperation.
Meanwhile, a meeting of IGAD ambassadors to Japan was held in the Japanese capital, Tokyo, hosted by the Sudan’s embassy.
It is worth noting that the councils of ambassadors of the IGAD countries are an initiative presented by Sudan the president of the IGAD current session, and which was approved by the ministerial meeting recently held in Khartoum.
The council’s meetings are part of the activity of the ambassadors of the IGAD countries abroad to enhance cooperation and coordination in regional issues.
