Towena, Nahral-Neil State, Mar. 18 (SUNA) –The President of the Transitional Sovereignty Council and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Gen. Abdul-Fattah Al-Burhan, Saturday arrived at Towena area, Buhaira Locality in Nahral-Neil State, accompanied by the Wali (governor) of the Northern State, Al-Bagir Ahmed Ali, the Minister of Irrigation, Eng. Dawal-Bait Abdul-Rahman Mansour, and the Minister of Communication’s and Digital Transformations, Adel Hussein.
They were received upon arrival at Towena area y the Wali (governor) of Nahral-Neil State, Mohamed Al-Badawi Abu-Guroun, and members of the state’s security committee.
Gen. Al-Burhan has inspected Al-Towena Hospital and directed that the hospital be operated urgently and provided by an ambulance, announcing support of the hospital with medical staff and doctors, while the Wali (governor) of the state announced the provision of housing for doctors and medical staff for the hospital.
At a meeting he held with the leaders of Manasir, the Local Option, and the council of the affected citizens, the President of the Sovereignty Council announced his special sponsorship of the Local Option file, and directed the Walis (governors) of Nahral-Neil and the Northern states to construct the Um Sarah Merowe road, stressing that the issue of electricity for the Local Option areas is a fundamental issue.
.He also announced his sponsorship of the file of rights file and dues of the affected people and his coordination with the Council of the affected citizens regarding formation of the higher committee and the political committee.
