Khartoum, March 19 (SUNA) - The Supreme Council for Environment and Urban and Rural Promotion of Khartoum State and the Green Cities Organization signed here today a memorandum of understanding on exchange of experiences in the field of environmental balance and waste recycling.
Dr. Bushra Hamid Ahmed signed the MOU on behalf of the Supreme Council for Environment and Urban and Rural Promotion of the State of Khartoum, while Dr. Abdul-Qadir Al-Fadil, Secretary-General of the Green Cities Organization signed for the organization.
The agreement covered number of fields, most notably cooperation in the field of transition to the green economy along with implementation of environmental awareness programs in the field of waste recycling at all levels in the state.
This is in addition to exchange of information and establishment of a joint office for the management of negative environmental phenomena.
